The author, or co-author of twenty-one cookbooks and editor of 40 books, including several memoirs, Brigit drives across the country twice a year, from her home in New York’s Hudson Valley to her winter base in southern California. And then back.

She has also driven across France, England, and Spain, and before the current unpleasantness, used to spend a few weeks most summers driving around northern Italy. Come the recovery, her rubber will meet the roads of Italy once again.

    Rather than blatantly pimp our product on egullet, I’ve chosen to extend an invitation to taste our extra virgin olive oil in Paso Robles, at our farm. If you have an interest in seeing our farm and olive grove let me know via the above email address. We have been producing for 3 years on a small scale with two different varietals, Lucca (similar to Frantoio) and Arbequina. Nothing fancy just a farm with good oil. Whatever you decide, enjoy you stay on the central coast.
